final overseas post

well, things have been winding down here in london. everyone is all packed up and ready to go and is preparing to say their goodbyes. i dont want to sound corny but i just want to let you all know that you will be greatly missed and i look forward to crossing pathes with you in the near future.

now that the mushy stuff is out of the way, i can fill you in on what's been happening lately. this past week was a great week... i learned that i love taking pictures and even went on the flower walk in kensignton gardens with stacy to take pictures of flowers. they turned out amazing and look for them on http://www.douglasberger.com.

this week was kind of interesting since we had to end our trip with finals. let me tell you about my finals... i'll just stick to telling you about the funny one. in one of our classes, just about all of our friends are in it. during the final, all of us were laughing out loud at eachother. i would sit there pushing out my stomach and making the desk move up and down with it. just as a random fact, there was a girl in our class writing her final with a light-up pen... blue in case you were wondering. meanwhile, greg was laughing at emily since she had pen on her forehead during the whole exam. that was funny. good times, good times...

allow me to reflect on my experiences abroad....

while abroad, i've learned many things, countless lessons, and best of all, how to drink like a champ. although i'll never be able to keep up with jackie, or tell as bad of jokes as scott, i will never forget my experiences abroad. it feels like just yesterday i was leaving st. louis to head to london... and now it's time to go. as much as we all are sad to see eachother go, i think we're all going to be happy to go home to our friends and families that have missed us so dearly (mom and michelle).

i think this post is coming to an end... i love all of you that i have spent this amazing experience with and will never forget all of the great times we shared together.
