changing of the guard gallopings
this whole alliteration thing is getting kind of hard... gallopings? is there a horse running around? wtf mate! so this is supposed to be about the changing of the guard so i'll get right on that.
this morning we went to see... you guessed it, the changing of the guard. kind of funny story...
podo (a friend from home) told marc that we should stand by the right gate outside buckingham palace in order to get the best view of the ceremony. right when we got there we did just that and camped around the right gate. since the first set of guards entered through the center gate, we move over there and lost our places by the right one, thinking that we were right and podo was wrong. shortly after the first group of guards came the rest of the parade. yep... they went through the right gate. therefore we had no view of what was going on and pretty much missed the whole thing. it was so crowded that in order to see what was going on, we had to take pictures with a full arm extention and look at the pictures. sooo, we'll probably have to go back and do the whole thing again.

the moral to the story is listen to what people tell you because you're probably a moron and they'll say i told you so.
