i should be a tour guide

i can't even tell you how many times i've toured london with people visiting. i've done everything probably 5 times. however, my parents are here right now and we're having a good time exploring london. last weekend, they came to london and then we went to paris the following morning. paris was an amazing city and it was crazy to be there... especially being on the roads that the tour de france takes place on!!! while in paris, we went to the eiffel tower, the louvre, musee d'orsay, musee de rodin, and others. mostly the things that everyone else does when they go to paris. the mona lisa was a big dissapointment since it was so tiny. after hearing about it so much, you expect it to be larger than life. on a good note, it was awesome being in the building that so much of the da vinci code took place in.

today, we went over to the area by the cutty sark, which is a ship that delivered tea to the uk from other countries. around that area is a place called canary wharf which reminds me of clayton in st. louis. it's a brand new area with very sharp looking buildings and lots of money. nearby was the prime meridian at greenwich. we took some pictures up there because the view of the surrounding area was beautiful.

this weekend, there's even more people coming to visit. this includes ben, schneider, some of their friends and amanda. i cannot wait to show more people around london!!! (sarcasm... but i'll suck it up and do it).
